I wish to paint the joy I feel by being in places I love, trying to capture in paint the colors of light and the spirit of stone and water.

Keene Valley church- 5 am
Walking through the town very early I looked up at the church and noticed this yellow orange glow from the clock on the steeple. In an hour the front of this church will be awash with golden light from the rising sun. oil 9x12

As a fellow painter, I can understand the appeal of this church view, and especially the angled per spective from which it is painted. My suggestion is that the bit of glowing yellow light be extended to the sky. Also, I would like to see more color in this one. Maybe a dash of red somewhere? Spice it up dude. Thanks for considering these ideas Michael!
