Sno cone

This is the little town of Keene Valley. The yellow building is The Birch Store, filled with beautiful furnishings, gifts, textiles, and jewelry. The Sno-cone was a street sign for the Noonemark Diner (out of frame on right) famous for its ice cream and berry pies. I thought the sno cone was funny out there in a traditional landscape. Would love to see the diner (that's out of sight).Like the snow cone sign, but wish it was bigger. The variety of color..especially the brightly light yellow-green tree in the foreground draws the viewer in. There is much activity in this view, as the color guides the eye around the canvas. The blue in the pavement is a terrific suprise, as a the eye can rest on the pavement. This may be my favorite, as I am drawn to this image over and over.

Mike, really nice stuff. Inspiring to me - I'm working my way back from visualization/eye-hand blindness from the LYME disease, and your work charges me up. Love the color. Susan
